Frank Garay

History: Bought my first guitar when I was 15 from a
store called "Best" for $35.00. My first electric I bought off
my friend "Brad Simmons" when I was 16 - it was a "Silvertone".
I've been self-taught over the next many years and have only played in a
few bands - one cover band in Hawaii in 1982 - and two original bands (Miles Helm & Judge Unger) in Northern California.
Comments: I freaking love this band. I never thought it
would be what it is today. It all started as a simple phone call to an old
friend seeing if he wanted to jam a little. Now it's one of the most
important parts of my life.

“The Kosmic Journey”
Today I took some Imitation drugs that made me
run through the Forest. All the way to the Far East... "Rage On" I shouted, trying
to drive my Headache away. I was out of control and asked the man to Tie Me Down because I was Falling
Faster with the Rain. Smackdown I hit the ground as I looked up and saw my Emotions
Running for the Next Guy Like You. "Only Me", I said. I am the
only one who will let my Memories Fade. I awoke from this dream only to see the television on an EBS
announcement. The buzzing was trying to Take A Chance on my nerves. Just then I looked out the window and
saw 9 stars. I went outside and made a very Frank wish on the biggest Star I could see. That I would
always love what I do and always do what I love. I turned to go back inside and tripped on the door Matt.
Like an Inspector I looked at the ground to see if I had tripped on something, it was only my ego in the way.

Influences: 70's fusion music (noteably; David Sancious and Tone, Return to
Forever, Jeff Beck, Billy Cobham, etc..), King's X, modern music of all types.
Comment: When I step outside of myself and look at this whole  machine...it just blows my mind. I get to hang with my best friends and play
some very interesting instruments! All the help and support from so many people is just overwhelming. It's all just the koolest of
blessings.

Matt Evans
Born: Marysville, Ca. Raised in Sacramento.
Influences: Terry Bozzio, Ian Paice, Matt Abts, Mike Portnoy to name a
few
Gear: Slingerland drums, Zildjian & Paiste cymbals, antenna ball
Comments: Matt's
introduction to music started at an early age. He participated in his father's summer-stock group, Musical Comedy Workshop. "I
never caught the acting bug but that was a great experience for learning music-meter, dynamics, vocals-everything."
By high school Matt had caught the rock n roll bug. He purchased his first drum
kit shortly before graduation. 20 years of practice, bands, gigs and recording, bring Matt to the Judge Unger fold. "It's nice to
play with such talented people; even better that they are all great, kind hearted fol. My regular gig, Milk the Sun are on hiatus now,
so I'm grateful for this time I have with them.
